Finally Sony TV’s ambitious project ‘Beyhadd’ was aired on Oct. 11 and must say that the first episode of this Jennifer Winget-Kushal Tandon starrer was pretty impressive. Beyhadd is a romantic thriller where Jennifer Winget essays the role of Maya a business woman and a sociopath who falls for Kushal aka Arjun an ambitious but happy go lucky guy. ‘Nisha aur Uske Cousins’ fame Aneri Vajani essays the role of Saanjh, Arjun’s childhood friend who also secretly loves him. The plot revolves around the intertwined lives of Maya, Arjun and Saanjh and their destination in journey of love. So here we lay down few reasons why Beyhadd’s first episode was intriguing and boasted of some of striking performances.
The Diva Jennifer Winget as Maya looks ravishing
Maya is a business tycoon living alone with a troubled mother with dark secrets. Jennifer looks stunning as ever but she has also done a commendable job of portraying this complex character with intense looks.
Kushal Tandon as Arjun is complete rockstar
Kushal Tandon as Arjun Sharma is an ambitious guy who dreams of being rich and living an extravagant lifestyle. Here Kushal seems to be doing a little bit overacting, but it still suits the character he is playing in the show.
Aneri Vajani as Sannjh is demure beauty
Aneri Vajani as Saanjh is a childhood friend of Arjun and is also secretly in love with him. The character Saanjh is a down to earth girl who is content with whatever she is blessed with in her life. The chemistry between Arjun and Saanjh is extremely adorable and real.
Extravagant show with Bollywood style scenes
The opening sequence of the show seemed straight out of some Bollywood Blockbuster movie. In the first episode Kushal is seen dancing to the song Deva Shree Ganesha from movie Agneepath as a part of Ganpati celebrations. The scene has been shot with much grandeur and it is an absolute treat to watch the show with a Bollywood touch.
Though the show seems to be clichéd plot of obsessive love like Pyar tune Kya Kiya or Gupt there is indeed a fresh appeal to it. The story is captivating in entire sense and the precap was also intriguing. So tune in tonight on Sony Tv at 9 pm to watch Beyhadd, you are surely going to love it!
